The Bluff House Inn is perfectly located for convenient and enjoyable day trips up or down our exquisite coastline. While at the Inn, you can enjoy all the splendors of Schoodic Peninsula, Frenchman Bay, and Acadia National Park-- without the crowds and the traffic! The immediate area offers various island trips, hiking/biking through wooded trails, family fun sea tours, launching your kayak or canoe from our pink granite shores, a vibrant local arts community, and even cross-country skiing excursions during the winter season.

If you prefer a more quiet retreat, you can enjoy the Inn's wrap around porches (upstairs and downstairs) to read a book or watch the sailboats gliding through the harbor. You can take a leisurely walk down our private trail, Lobster Trap Trail, to the ocean to have a picnic on the stony shore, or hop in for a refreshing swim.
