High above Frenchman's Bay, the Bluff House Inn offers a stunning panoramic ocean view throughout New England's four seasons. The beautiful post and beam-style Inn lies on the east side of the Schoodic Peninsula, situated near the picturesque fishing village of Winter Harbor and within miles of the Schoodic region's Acadia National Park.

This pet-friendly Inn features 9 cozy room, 10 rustic cabins, a fully furnished log cabin home and a 2 bedroom apartment with an amazing ocean view. As guests, you are welcome to gather by the cozy outdoor or indoor fireplace, play games, have a cold Maine brew on the porch, take in the smell of the salty ocean breezes, hike down to the ocean on our private trail through the woods on property or put your feet up in the Inn's main room. Our goal is to offer you comfort and privacy whether you're passing through or staying for vacation.

ROOMS

All inn rooms have vented AC units, free WiFi, fans, a private bathroom and toiletries. Our rooms range from one queen size to a full and a twin, as well as two queen sized beds

Our ten cabins have a queen bed, a small table, a fridge, a private bathroom and a small deck facing the ocean. All individual units with AC. All have amazing sunset views. Continental breakfast can be added for $10 per person

This is an AMAZING place to stay. I cannot say enough good things about the owners Don and Keara. They are so pleasant and we loved it so much we decided to stay another day. They are so accommodating and wonderful. The view is out of this world. Cleanliness is a 10 and delicious breakfast as well! We will definitely be back and will look no further than bluff house inn for a place to stay!!

If it was possible to give more than 5 stars, we would! We were glad to arrive during day time hours, as the drive was hard to see the first time. It's a big lodge in the woods over looking the bay. Fantastically gorgeous views in every direction. The family that owns it is above and beyond helpful and friendly.We had a room in the main lodge which is where continental breakfast is served daily- free of charge. There are 7 rooms in the main lodge with each having a private bath. 2 floors- no elevator. Also available are several stand alone single cabins for rent. Highly recommend this for a quiet, peaceful, beautiful place to stay!

We spent 3 nights in the cabins and they were great! Sooo quiet and peaceful, nothing but the sounds of nature, fresh air and a beautiful view in the morning. Hunter was a wealth of information and helped us plan our days in Acadia. Breakfasts were baked goods and boiled eggs. Good enough for us. The only thing that would have been nice was coffee makers in the cabins so you could sip as you sit on the porch first thing in the morning. But great place.

This place is amazing! If you are visiting Acadia, the Bluff House Inn is the best place to stay. Not in crowded Bar Harbor but still close enough to Acadia and closer to the hidden gems of Acadia. The owner is absolutely wonderful and told us about all of the secret breathtaking spots that no one really knows about, so we had gorgeous views all to ourselves. The cabin was clean, cute, and comfortable with beautiful views of the water, and the house has even better views to sit on the front porch and enjoy. I will never stay anywhere else when I go back to this area! Thank you so much Bluff House Inn, I will never forget how kind you were!

The perfect spot to get some R & R and take in gorgeous scenery. Loved the view from the cabins, which were also amazingly clean and comfy. Also a great location to explore Acadia without having to be in crowded Bar Harbor, but close enough for access to everything we needed, including less touristy spots recommended by the Inn's owner (who was super friendly and helpful). Loved everything about this stay!
